Visit WBCAT at DUNE-FEST “Restore & Explore”event on Saturday July 18 from 12:30 to 4:00pm.

EVENT IS POSTPONED TO SUNDAY JULY 19 DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS

This event is hosted by Ontario Parks at the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, Beach Area 5

A family friendly activities with a focus on the coastal dune habitats Piping Plovers rely on to thrive,
and the importance of a healthy natural dune system to ensure the places we love remain beautiful for generations to come.
 
Day 1: “Ploverpalooza” 12:30pm – 4pm, Friday July 17, 2026 at Beach Area 5
Day 2: “Restore & Explore” 12:30pm – 4pm, Saturday July 18, 2026 at Beach Area 5.

Come and stop by WBCAT canopy to discuss: 

  • WBCAT Dune Stewardship Program, Dune Preservation and Restoration
  • WBCAT New Pollinator Garden installed at Beach Area 5
  • WBCAT Weekly Shoreline Cleanup with Georgian Bay Forever
  • Others WBCAT activities and projects
  • Share your views and opinions on environment and climate action

In partnership with Wasaga Beach Provincial Park

Provincial Park Ecologists, WBCAT and others will be located on the beachfront in front of the Park Store at Beach Area 5.
Find us near the playground and eastern Comfort Station for an afternoon of educational fun!
