Come and join us and your community to help plant trees and schrubs.

This will:

• create wild life habitat
• increase local urban tree canopy
• enhance community resilience to climate change

Meet at the Wasaga Beach Sports Park at 9:00am

• 1888 Klondike Park Road, Wasaga Beach
• Free parking available

This event is sponsored by Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA), The Town of Wasaga Beach and your Wasaga Beach Climate Action Team (WBCAT)

Logistics:

• Expect some walking, digging, carrying trees and shovels and bending over or kneeling
• Shovels are provided

Remember to Bring

• Please dress for the weather! Consider bringing a rain jacket, hat, etc., depending on weather conditions

• Gardening/work gloves (Extra gloves available)

• Closed-toed shoes/rubber boots (Spring is muddy!)

• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Extra water and snacks/lunch
• Extra change of clothes for after the tree plant
• High school volunteer forms
• Washroom facilities available on site
