THE CLIMATE IS CHANGING AND SO MUST WE, WE NEED TO BE PREPARED:

2023 was the hottest summer and year on record with the worst wildfires on record in Canada and after the warmest winter we just had  we should be prepared for even more wildfires in 2024.

We are preparing for the worst,” Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said. “Early projections for 2024 indicate the potential for early and above-normal fire activity over the spring months as a result of ongoing drought forecasts,”

  • Climate change has a significant impact on the increased frequency and severity of wildfires in Canada.
  • Meet with us to discuss impacts of climate change, what mitigation and adaptation actions can be taken, at individual, business and goverment levels,
  • Purchase a Rain Barrel, take advantage of a $30 Water Conservation Rebate, and help our fundraising while conserving water and saving money on your water bills
  • or just stop and say ‘Hi”.
